Friday: Epic Dump

So I'm now in the Netherlands, pretty much doing the same things I do in Canada, other than watching the Dutch in their daily activities; Play games, listen to music and watch things. But it feels more magical in a different land O.o Anyway, I haven't dumped in a while so here we go..

• I like bad "VS" things but this one sort of tops it for "bad". I've been on...another... old school Sega kick lately so looking up Alex Kidd things is sort of my passtime now.

• This has got to be the ugliest alex kidd fanart I've ever seen... he looks freaky..

• This screenshot from Sonic Racing (no i dont have it) sort of made me want a 3d remake of Alex Kidd... I know, blasphemy.. but he looks so cute like that!

• Something about this is also awesome

• And lastly since i'm reaching for content, you MUST check this site out. It's a fantastic "database" on classic games and series. Lots of nice history too.

I know i say this a lot, but plenty of ideas are in the works for the site, new reviews and new articles, so stay tuned!

Friday: Epic Dump

It's that time again! Let's get to it!

• First main topic: Duke Nukem Forever! Yes this week a video and a number of screenshots have been leaked for Duke Nukem Forever. Are they real? Will it come out THIS year? Naw, but it's still amusing. I have to say though, from the video, it must be one of the worst sounding games i've ever heard. I still love ya Duke!

• This has got to be one of the most awesome things I have seen in years. Yeah fuck you Apple! Anyway, there are TONS of videos from Will it Blend? So check them out! They're all amazing! His smile is the best part.

• If you haven't seen them yet, you need to check out Orioto's video game paintings. They're gloriously amazing and have been featured on my desktop background for over a year now! I have altered beast on here right now.

Its been another busy week; many things are still in the works for the site so stay tuned! At the moment we're working on Randgame ideas, comics, more features and other fun stuff! Have fun!

Friday: Epic Dump

Well it's that time of week again..er a week later than the time of the week..

It's been a busy week. This coming week we should have a lot more content being posted up, sorry about the no-show!

• I'm slow and I JUST discovered two things: A new DS hit shelves last week, and a new one is already been announced and shown. Does anyone else find something wrong with this? This is the new 3DS.. I have to admit it looks.. really bad. Sorta like the E3 presentations of Natal and PS Move. Maybe they'll fix it for launch, but I'd never buy it. I haven't paid attention to Nintendo for the past 3 years anyway.
  

• The new Final Fantasy finally hit stores last week and it's been selling a crap ton. As usual I'll probably wait until i can get it for $30-40, but I do feel a burning need to have a RPG on my PS3. The reviews seem to be mediocre, but who cares? It's still Final Fantasy! .. ok I said the same thing about the crystal chronicals..

• Anyway, check out the Game Trailers Retrospectives. Very nice videos on the history of game series like Final Fantasy, Metroid, Zelda and Star Wars.

Now down to business.

• According to a re-tweet by Roger Ebert, the stargate has been found. This is good news for scientists and nerds alike.

• The new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released, and it looks amazing.

• I took plushie making up as a half hobby last year, its fun...long.. but fun. Here are some I made:

Friday: Epic Dump

So it's official now every Friday I'll post an Epic Dump. Thanks to Scott for the encouragement.

This week is a bit of a fanboys theme. I randomly searched for Sonic and Mario, and this is what I found:

And finally, to piss off every Sony Fanboy out there...
On Wednesday night Sony showed us they still got balls

The Playstation Move has been renamed and fully unveiled; apparently its the wii mote with balls and in black.

So it is complete. Sony has their balls, Nintendo has their own phallic symbol and xbox has the camera to film it all. Bit of a sausage fest I guess...

The real concern is whether or not we'll soon see the end of hardcore gaming? Sony said this is not the case, but the way things are going... who knows what the future holds? I for one am too lazy to get off the couch to play games and was happy with my 360 and PS3. I never got into the wii because well.. laziness. Will we see the next big video gaming crash in the coming years due to an overwhelming amount of shitty motion control games?
